- Can be Source Verified to the ranch of origin.
- Never fed or implanted with growth promoting hormones
- At least 50% Wagyu, many Mishima Ranch cattle are a much higher percentage Wagyu.
- Fed for more than 350 days in a comfortable, low stress environment.
- Not fed antibiotics and thet are raised with out the use of sub-therapeutic antibiotics.
- Fed a strictly vegetarian diet consisting of high quality feed ingredients.
- A minimum 25 months of age at harvest.
- Handled and harvested in a humane way and processing facilities located within 2.5 hours of the feeding location.
- Have a minimum marbling level equivalent to USDA Prime. Most Mishima Ranch Cattle have a quality grade that is significantly higher than USDA Prime.
